Basking in the Afterglow

Did you spend the weekend craving a cigarette and some cuddling? If not, then you weren’t at the Manitoba show at the extremely oversold Bowery Electric on Thu 1/26. The lucky attendees have spent the last couple of days looking back in awe.  

You thought the Asbury show was great? So did I. Well, this was a quantum leap above the debut. From Note One, the band kicked a** and took names. They were tighter than a mosquito’s tweeter, and there was a ROAR coming from the dueling Gibsons that is almost beyond description. Imagine being on a tarmac without earplugs as a jet plane comes in for a landing — THAT’s what they sound like.

The MANITOBA Era Is Nigh!!

Happy Holidays From The DFFD Blog!

It doesn’t matter if you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah or Kwanzaa — we ALL celebrate the Dictators! Happy holidays and Dictators Forever Forever Dictators!

Woohoo!! We’re 2!!

It’s the two-year anniversary of this thing of ours. If you haven’t figured it out by now, this site exists to pay homage to the greatest band ever. There is no room here for the negativity and arguing that is running rampant in Tatorland.

Our wishes for the future are that our boys should play the songs however they want, whether loud or quiet, in whatever collaboration can stand each other’s company, and please, please SHUT THE HELL UP ALREADY.
